Let me ask you something, how many times have you heard "I don't buy expensive sunglasses because i'll either lose them or break them"? Yep, it's a common assumption that because of our carelessness, we shouldn't buy nice things..

Well, we are here to teach you how to care for your sunglasses so they last a lifetime!

1) Always use a sunglasses case:

Lesson number 1 - When you're not wearing your sunglasses, always carry them in the provided case they came in.

If you are one of those people who carry your sunglasses around in your pocket, handbag or even just tucked into your shirt as the cool kids do, your new shades run the risk of lifes unpredictable mishaps.


2) Clean your lenses.. no, not with the bottom of your t-shirt (fellas):

Lesson number 2 - If you're like us, you've been in a situation where you're on the beach or out in the park with friends and your sunglasses get smudged with sunscreen or the grease from those hot chippies. Do NOT, I repeat..do NOT get the bottom of your shirt and start to wipe the lenses.. It's best to clean your lenses using a gentle lens solution. To avoid scratches never wipe the lens when they're dry as this can cause small tiny scratches.

3) Keep your Eyewear away from water:

This ones pretty straight forward - We know being the sun-loving, beach-going Aussies that we are that this might be diffcult to avoid all the time. . But just like the salt/chemicals in the water effects us and our skin, it also effects our sunglasses as well. If you happen to get your Eyewear wet, just try to gently dry them as much as possible.

4) Finally, Do not wear your sunglasses on top of your head!

Final lesson - Did you know this is the main reason sunglasses become damaged?

This is where many people go wrong. We know the top of your head is easily accessible and looks stylish, but sunglasses are meant for your face, not your head. If you need to take your sunglasses off for a moment, we recommend placing them in a case (ours fully fold down flat so it can easily be stored away when not in use).
